If you’ve got kids, then I would imagine that you sometimes feel like you need to take some time for a break from them. Just a short one. You know, to unplug, recharge, and come back to them with a fresh perspective.
I don’t have kids, by the way, but I have been a kid, and I have seen a few around the traps over the years, so… prove me wrong.
Anyway, what I’m saying is that this website, or blog, or whatever you want to call it, has been my baby for the last 9 months or so. It’s been great fun and I love it, but it’s absorbed all of my spare time outside of working full-time at a real job, sleeping (less and less, thanks), and occasionally trying to ride my bike.
If you don’t already know, it’s just me here, and lately I haven’t felt like I’ve had enough time to really stand back and look at the bigger picture of where I want to take this (aside from bigger…). So, it’s time for a break. I need a holiday, so I’ll be taking a bit of time away from the daily postings here at The Sticky Bidon, but don’t worry, it’ll just be a week or so (depends if I actually get any time to myself this week!), and I’ll keep the other feeds going (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).
On that note, if anyone has been thinking about getting any projects off the ground or collaborating on anything, shoot me an email (email@example.com) and we can have a chat.
On the next note, I’d like to know what you all think about the content here – what do you want to see more of? More product reviews, how-to, interviews, coverage of certain issues, etc? Any feedback will be taken on-board with pleasure.
On the final note, I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to check in here now and then, leave comments, and share your thoughts, as well as mine. As fun as this is, I want to make it better, so hopefully this week I can get some time for a break with some good me-time in there, tie-up a few reviews that I’ve had waiting in the wings, and come back rested and ready to dazzle you with more life-changing content than you can swing a cat at.
