There are many, many reminders of how good most of us have things in life. Many of those reminders are far more important than this one (mere possessions, rather than food or safety). Still, Havana Bikes is a short film that takes us into the bike “culture” of Havana, who have to make do with what they have to the best of their ability. What they have is pretty bad, and there’s not even that much of it. Think about this next time you need your local shop to fix/tune/replace/clean/whatever-you-can’t-do-yourself, and be grateful that they are there to keep your gears shifting and your wheels turning. With new parts, even.
